Welcome to Akindi!
This guide covers running a paper assessment. Students complete it in person with a paper and any writing utensil. Akindi gives you two starting points, and this guide will help you pick which one is right for you.

Before you start
Create your Akindi account. Most schools have Akindi built into their LMS â see the guide for Canvas, Brightspace, Blackboard Ultra, or Moodle. If your school doesn't use the integration, sign up here.
Set up your course and roster. This happens automatically with the LMS integration. Otherwise, click 'Create Course' in the left-hand menu, then upload a class roster.
1. Create Assessment
a) To get started, click the âCreate Assessmentâ button in the upper-right corner.
b) Select your course from the drop down menu and give your assessment a title
c) Click "next"
2. Choose how you'd like to start
Start with answer key
Enter your answer key into Akindi
Akindi creates bubble sheets only
Akindi does not handle any question content
Print your test questions outside of Akindi
Start with questions
Upload your question content (MCQ & written answer questions) as a word document into Akindi
Scramble content to create multi-version assessments
Akindi creates complete test packets (MCQ & written answer questions)
Print everything from Akindi
Grade your written answer questions in Akindi
