We're excited to announce a powerful new question type in Akindi: Written Answer Questions.

Written Answer Questions allow students to provide free-form text responses rather than selecting from multiple choice options. Written Answer Questions are ideal for:

Akindi will automatically recognize Written Answer Questions and their associated point value included in your Word Document.

Use the answer space slider to control exactly how much room students get for each response. Adjust the space based on the complexity and expected length of the answer.

Enable scrambling for written answer questions to create multiple test versions. Written Answer Questions scramble among themselves at the bottom of the assessment

Written Answer Questions will be graded manually outside of Akindi. The hand-graded marks can be combined with the multiple choice grade to send a combined score to the LMS gradebook.
