What are Student Response exceptions?
Whenever Akindi is unsure of a students response, a Student Response exception is called. This can be caused by:
A student bubbling more responses that the answer key contains
A student bubbling multiple responses and Xing one or more out
A student lightly or partially filling a bubble
How to resolve Student Response exceptions
1. Review the image preview of the test sheet. Determine if a change is needed in order to accurately reflect the student's marking.
2. If no change is needed to the student's response, click 'Confirm Response'
3a. If a change is needed, make the desired change using the digital bubbles. Akindi will update the 'marks earned' in real-time.
3b. Once the response has been changed, click 'Confirm Response'
Student Response Exceptions for SATA questions
For select all that apply (SATA) questions, in which there are multiple correct responses, Student Response exceptions are still called, but they are automatically marked as resolved.
You can review these 'auto-resolved' exceptions under the 'Show Fixed' toggle.
Bulk Actions: Resolve multiple student response exceptions at once
1. Select the desired exceptions using the checkboxes in the middle column or click 'Select all'
2. Review the image preview for the selected test sheets.
3. Click 'Confirm Response'. All selected exceptions will be marked as resolved and the students' responses will remain unchanged.
