Creating 'Select all that Apply' Questions in Akindi

How to use 'Advanced Marking options to grade 'select all that apply' questions and award partial credit for multiple correct responses

'Partial Mark' questions in Akindi award students partial credit for each correct response up to the full weight of the question.

Partial Mark questions are commonly used in 'Select All that Apply' style-questions.

Create a 'partial mark' question in Akindi Classic

There are two ways to indicate a question as partial mark question: a) editing the answer key from the 'Answer Key' page, or b) editing the answer key from the 'Responses' tab when viewing the results.

Edit Answer Key from Course Dashboard

1. Click "Edit Answer Key" on your course dashboard.

2. Select the bubble of the correct responses.

3. Next to the desired question, click the Change marking button.

If you imported your questions, this button is located to the left of the desired question.

If you entered your answer key, this button is located to the right of each question.

4. Select the "Partial" grading scheme in the pop-up menu.

5. If desired, choose to deduct for incorrect responses.

6. Changes will be automatically saved. Any test sheets already uploaded will be automatically re-graded.
