Formatting List of Correct Answers

Create a list that contains the correct response (answer key) for each question. The list can either be listed vertically or horizontally.

The list can contain the question number. For example:

  1. A

  2. B

  3. E

  4. D

  5. BC

The question number can be omitted. For example:

A

B

E

D

BC

The correct responses can also be listed horizontally and separated by a comma. For example:

A, B, E, D, BC...

The correct responses can also be copied from an excel file or table. For example:

A

2

B

3

E

4

D

5

BC

Including Question Weight

Any number listed before the correct response will be read as the question number.

Any number listed after the correct response will be read as the question weight.

Question weight can be included in a list format including the question number. For Example:

  1. A 1

  2. B 0.5

  3. E 1

  4. D 1

  5. BC 2

Question weight can also be included when copying from an excel or table. For Example:

Copy & Paste List of Correct Responses into Akindi

1. Click 'Edit Answer Key' on the desired assessment.

2. Click the 'Copy/paste key' button.

3. Copy your list of correct answers from a word document or excel file.

4. Paste the list of correct answers into the text box.

5. Click 'Save' and Akindi will display the imported answer key.

💡 Running Multiple Versions? Use the 'Version' dropdown menu at the top of the answer key to switch between different versions. Repeat the above steps for each version.
