May 30, 2026 - Inline images | Release Notes

Images now automatically sit beside question and answer text, and flow inline automatically

1. Inline question images

What's new?

Images imported through Word documents will automatically be re-sized to be less than half the width of the printed page.

If desired, instructors can re-size images to increase or decrease the size.

When an image is smaller than half the width of the page, Akindi places the image on the right side of the page, keeping the question and answer content on the left.

The result is less white space, a more compact assessment, and fewer total pages.

Why we built this?

Instructors shared that they would spend hours perfectly formatting their questions and images to maximize page usage.

We wanted to offer the same custom, compact formatting without any manually formatting.

2. Horizontally formatted answer images

What's new?

When answer options consist of a single image in each answer options, the answers will display side by side as well, sized to fit neatly across the page. This maximizing the page usage and reduces any white pace.
