Export Answer Keys from Akindi

How to export answer keys from your Akindi assessments.

How you export your answer key depends on whether you imported your question content into Akindi or just entered the answer key.

  • Entered your answer key (no question content)? Export list of correct answers using Copy & Paste Answer Key feature.

You do not need to scan/upload a filled answer key bubble sheet when uploading bubble sheets.

Imported questions

If you imported your questions, you will automatically receive an 'instructor' version in your zip file, that contains:

  1. Your original question order with the scramble map, and

  2. Answer keys for all versions

The instructor copy lists the test questions in their original order. Under each question is the scramble map and answer key for every version.

Use this to:

  • Keep a master copy of your assessment

  • Quickly locate a particular question across all versions

Answer key table

At the end of the instructor version, is a reference table showing the correct answer for each question in every version. Original question numbers are shown in parentheses.

Use this to:

  • Answer student questions during the exam

  • Share answer keys with co-instructors or TAs

  • Understand how a particular question on a version maps to the original

Entered answer key

If you entered the answer key (and didn't import question content), you can export your answer key using the Copy & Paste Answer Key feautre:

1. Click 'Edit Answer Key' on your course dashboard.

2. Click 'Copy/paste Key'.

3. Click the 'Copy' button.

4. Paste the copied text into a word document to be saved on your computer.

Note: this exports the key as plain text — it won't include a scramble map, since Akindi doesn't have your original question order to map against.

Is it possible to export a filled answer key bubble sheet from Akindi?

Unfortunately, it's not possible to export a digitally-filled answer key bubble sheet from Akindi.

Test sheets will be automatically graded against the digital answer key.
