What is the 'Duplicate' feature?
Duplicating an assessment allows an instructor to use the same answer key in a different assessment or course without having to re-enter the answer key manually.
Duplicating an assessment will create a new assessment and will :
Copy all questions, answer options, and answer keys
Preserve same question scramble ma
Keep all assessment settings (selected sheet layout, prefill student information)
NOT transfer over any results or test sheets that were uploaded to the assessment.
💡 Use the Copy & Paste Answer Key feature to copy an answer key from an assessment to an existing assessment.
How to Duplicate an Answer Key?
1. Go to the assessment that you wish to duplicate.
2. Click the 'Duplicate' button located under the assessment header.
💡 If the assessment is listed as a 'Past Assessment', the duplicate button can be accessed from the 'Results' dropdown menu.
3. Enter the new assessment name.
4. Select the course you would like the new assessment to be added to.
5. Click 'Duplicate'.
Assessment listed as a 'Past Assessment'
To reuse an answer key from an assessment that is listed as a 'Past Assessment'...
1. Click the 'Results' menu dropdown arrow.
2. Select 'Duplicate Assessment'.
3. Follow the above steps to enter new assessment name and select new course.
